Routine guide
A simple ayurvedic skincare routine
Ayurvedic-inspired skincare keeps things simple and consistent: gentle cleansing, botanical toning, a targeted treatment, and nourishment — using familiar plant ingredients like saffron, rose, aloe and forest herbs.
Here’s an easy morning and night routine you can build with VEETREE’s plant-led range, plus how to adjust it for your skin type.
Morning routine
Cleanse gently to refresh skin.
Tone with a hydrosol — rose for normal/dry, tea tree for oily/blemish-prone.
Treat with a brightening serum (saffron-led Kumkumadi) for glow and even-looking tone.
Finish with a light moisturiser, and protect with sunscreen during the day.
Night routine
Cleanse to remove the day.
Tone, then press in your serum.
Seal with a richer step at night — a Kumkumadi night cream for dry or mature-feeling skin, or a light gel for oily skin.
1–2 nights a week, swap in a face pack or gentle exfoliation.
Adjust for your skin type
Dry: lean on rose hydrosol, nourishing oils and a night cream.
Oily / blemish-prone: tea tree hydrosol, light gels, and gentle weekly exfoliation.
Sensitive: keep it minimal — aloe and rose — and patch test anything new.
Whatever your type, consistency over a few weeks matters more than the number of products.
FAQ
What does an ayurvedic skincare routine include?
At its simplest: cleanse, tone with a hydrosol, treat with a botanical serum, and nourish — plus a weekly face pack or gentle exfoliation. Keep it consistent.
How many products do I actually need?
Three to four is plenty — a cleanser, a hydrosol/toner, a serum, and a moisturiser. Add a weekly pack if you like. More products isn’t better.
Are ayurvedic skincare results fast?
They’re gradual and cosmetic — most people notice fresher, more even-looking skin over a few weeks of consistent use. Results vary.
